This Two Humbucker pickguard is cut for two humbuckers in your choice of humbucker styles with one pickup rout at the bridge and one at the neck. We offer your choice of pot hole locations as well as other customizable options. All guards are designed to work with Fender Standards US/MIM 2002 & Newer styles.

Note that, in general, standard uncovered humbuckers will fit snugly in our rounded corner pickup rout option while covered humbuckers will need the square-corner rout style. *Standard guards are cut from multi-ply traditional pickguard materials. Unless specified, material layers may vary (impacts side edging color only).
*Standard solid guards cut from single-ply traditional pickguard materials do not have the customary side stripe.
*Other styles are custom single-ply solid, specialized material without a side stripe. Some options in this color category feature a range of transparent, translucent, shimmer, sparkle, or reflective qualities. Contact us for details if these features are important to your project as the gradient varies between styles. Many of these materials are designed to vary in pattern, color, and style, providing unique outcomes for each project – expect variability.
*Most guard styles come with full-size pre-applied electronics shielding sheet. Some specialty guards, including transparent or translucent styles, may have single or double-sided protective covering with electronics shielding sheet included separately so you can choose whether/how to apply it.
*Allow and expect color and pattern variation due to photo and monitor settings, natural product variance, and personal perception. If you are looking for a particular outcome or project color match, carefully consider your purchase as many of our material options are designed to provide unique project finishes and we cannot guarantee a specific look.

YOUR CHOICE – Mounting Style
For your guard mounting style, choose the option that will work best for your needs. A reference image is provided to give general locations for each style. Pay close attention to hole patterns and be sure to select the correct guard mounting style for your guitar or select None (Undrilled) so you can place mounting holes as needed.
--None (Undrilled): No mounting screw holes (undrilled, do-it-yourself) so you can place the mounting holes just where you need them if you’re not sure what pattern you have or if you have something non-standard or more unusual.
--11-Hole Standard
--11-Hole ‘62 Pattern
--8-Hole Conversion: Based on the 11-Hole Standard, this option gives the Vintage 8 Hole look without needing to drill new holes.
--8-Hole Vintage Pattern
--4 Hole Anchor Pattern: This provides the four most common corner guard mounting holes so, if desired, you can place any additional holes where you want them.
*Pickguard mounting screw holes are counter-sunk.

YOUR CHOICE – Bridge / Trem Cut Options
Choose from standard or Floyd Rose cut styles or select “None (uncut)” if you do not wish to have a trem space routed.
*Floyd Rose Cut pickguards are designed for a Floyd Rose Tremolo rather than a Standard Strat Trem set-up. Guard mounting screw spacing may be adjusted appropriately for this choice as needed.

YOUR CHOICE – Neck Pocket Cutout Options
Choose a standard neck cut size/style Strat neck pocket cut with or without a truss rod notch.
*Truss option is for Elite / Pro-Mod style ONLY – not for vintage or other styles

YOUR CHOICE – Humbucker Rout Options
Choice of bridge and neck position humbucker cut styles for each slot (or select "NONE" if you don't want a pickup rout for a particular slot).
*Standard, Mini and Lipstick Humbucker Rout Styles
*Square or Rounded Corner
*Standard, Angled, or Reverse Angled Placement
*Standard or “Forward Placement” which places the humbucker rout ¼” further from the trem cut. The Deluxe / Lonestar option is automatically placed in the forward position.
--Not all options will work with standard body routing. Body modifications may be required depending on your selections.
--Rounded Corner Humbucker Cut Pickguards will not work with covered or active pickups. Be sure to select the “Squared Corner” style of pickup rout for covered or active pickup use.

YOUR CHOICE – Switch Control Options
Your choice of different switch styles and locations. A reference image is provided to give general locations for all options. Be sure to check your control cavity for compatibility with your desired style.
*None (uncut/undrilled, do-it-yourself)
*Standard Blade Style Switch Cut (standard/blade/knife switch style) in choice of positions with standard or countersunk mounting hole styles
--Standard Position (standard Strat placement)
--Root Style: Note that Hole Positions 2, 2.5, & 3 are not available for other hole selections with this option
*Mini Toggle Switch Holes (placement at our discretion)
*Standard Toggle Switch (Gibson Style) Hole in Standard or Alternate Positions
--Standard Position not recommended with P4 hole selection
--Alternate Position (popular with some Charvel So-Cal models) not available with P2.5 hole selection and not recommended with P2 or P3 hole selection
Note that switch options are also available in the Control/Pot Hole Position selection menu if you’d prefer a switch in one of those positions. Choose only one type of switch on either selection menu (unless you want more than one switch hole or cut).

YOUR CHOICE – Control/Pot Hole Positions
We can send these custom guards without any holes (undrilled so you can drill how and where you like) or with control pot, standard toggle switch, mini toggle switch, or standard blade switch cut holes drilled in the position of your choice. If you do not want any holes drilled, simply select “NONE” on every position option.
--P1: Position #1 – Standard Strat Volume Hole
--P1.5: Position #1.5 – Slight Offset between P1 and P2
--P2: Position #2 – Standard Strat Middle Tone
--P2.5: Position #2.5 – Slight Offset between P2 & P3
--P3: Position #3 – Standard Strat Bottom Tone
--P4: Position #4 – Offset
*IMPORTANT NOTES
--Please check out the provided reference image for general hole placement options. Be sure to check your control option selections and compatibility with hole selections/placement.
--Control Pot holes are compatible with full or mini size pots.
--Position #4 may not fit in all Strat routs and additional routing may be required with this selection.
--Positions #1.5 & #4 are not recommended to be selected for the same build unless using mini pots.
--Blade Switch Cut selection requires the two nearest holes as well as the one selected. If you want a blade switch in one of the control hole locations, be sure to select “None” for the adjacent holes.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON – Matching Trem Cover
*Select this option if you would like a matching trem cover (cut from the same material sheet). This will provide you with the closest possible match to your new guard. Please note that some of our specialty style materials are designed to vary in color, pattern or style in order to provide unique outcomes so covers and guards cut from the same material sheet may naturally differ in appearance.
*Your choice of either no mounting holes (undrilled, do-it-yourself), 6 standard or 6 lefty mounting holes.
*Select no string slot (uncut, for Floyd Rose styles or do-it-yourself), standard or lefty string slot placement.
*Add on trem covers feature beveled edging. If you would prefer a non-beveled style, check out our Custom Trem Covers (linked below).

OPTIONAL ADD-ON – Pickguard Mounting Screws

These guards may not work with non-standard components or systems and may not work with some pickup covers/styles. Guards may not fit “Squier” “Deluxe” “Light” “Custom” any Artist Series or Reissue, or any other non-standard models. With standard selections, these guards are designed to work with “Fender® Standard” model guitars in the years and configuration noted. Contact us in advance if you have something other than standard. Non-standard selections may require body or other modifications. Your selections are your own – we will create your custom guard to order per your specifications.

Allow and expect variation in color due to photo and monitor settings, personal perception, and natural product variance. Reference images are approximations and not to scale; variability is to be expected. Images provided are representations only. Sample color images may represent the color, pattern, or shading of pickguards, but will not be an exact match. Specialty colors are particularly difficult to capture/show true images. We do not recommend purchasing if you are looking for a particular outcome or are trying to match an existing color/theme on your guitar. We want you to be completely satisfied with your custom pickguard purchase and thank you for understanding that we cannot guarantee a specific look.

Check measurements before purchase. Depending on your set-up, you may require adjustment. Ask in advance and we are happy to provide fit/compatibility information or make special arrangements if possible. Please carefully consider your purchase if you are unsure of your requirements, needs, or ability to make any required adjustments for your custom designed guard. Diagrams/instructions are not included. We will cut/drill as you select within reason and at our discretion – some variability is to be expected as these are custom works and we reserve the right to adjust as needed based on your selections. Some hole placements will not be compatible with certain routing or may be too closely positioned for standard knob sizes - it is solely your responsibility to determine and select your desired option placements. Ask questions prior to purchase as needed.

THERE ARE NO RETURNS OR ORDER CANCELLATIONS ON CUSTOM ORDERS! Since we process orders as quickly as possible and each guard will be cut just for you, be sure of what you want and ask any questions before completing your purchase. This item is not eligible for return. It is solely your responsibility to know what you need/want and what options will work for your set-up. Inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if there are any problems. Any use or modification of a guard in any way invalidates your ability to make a return in case of shipping damage.

Buyers assume all risk of use; sales are only offered to those competent to safely and lawfully purchase and use items.

Note that we do not recommend installation using power tools as these can put too much force on the product and cause damage. Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten screws or other components. If you elect to drill or cut your own controls or holes, please be aware that some guards are extremely difficult to drill yourself if you do not have experience or proper tools. This is especially true for mirror, clear, sparkle and other specialty color/style materials.
