Dragonfire Slug Buckers offer hot, modern performance with classic rock appeal. These feature a familiar covered humbucker feel with updated flat top slug style poles and ceramic magnets. Slug Buckers are designed for strong, clear play in a variety of genres and are suitable for players looking for powerful articulation.

Please note that standard covered humbucker pickups are not the same size as standard uncovered humbucker pickups and typically require “square-corner” style routs if using a pickguard. Check your measurements prior to purchase and contact us if you have any questions.

~~Installation Information~~
The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

Please note that different manufacturers and pickup styles use different wire color code systems. It is important to use the Dragonfire wire color codes provided with your order!

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.

These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split as well as add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options. If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.
