Great for an incredible number of genres, these four-wire hot wound Duo Rails deliver! These are humbuckers in the size of a standard Strat single coil so you don’t have to carve up your body in order to get the humbucking features and superb versatility you want.

Probably one of the coolest guards we make, the Dragonfire DFHR features 3 Dragonfire Hot Duo Rails in your choice of colors wired on a custom designed pickguard. We offer some of the most expansive options available anywhere so you can create something totally unique for your playing needs and performance style. For your control pots, choose the quantity (up to four) and positioning you prefer. Options include:
*One master volume control
*One master volume plus one tone for master control of all pickups at once in humbucker or single coil mode
*One master volume plus two tone controls for tone control of the neck and middle separately only in single coil mode (no independent tone control of bridge)
*Three volume controls for independent position control of each pickup separately
*Array of 4 mini pots in your choice of styles (1 Master Volume + 3 Independent Tones or 3 Independent Volumes + 1 Master Tone)

Pot position options include (see the provided image):
*P1 – Position #1 – Standard Strat Volume Hole Position
*P1.5 – Position #1.5 – Slight Offset between P1 and P2
*P2 – Position #2 – Standard Strat Middle Tone Position
*P2.5 – Position #2.5 – Slight Offset between P2 & P3
*P3 – Position #3 – Standard Strat Bottom Tone Position
*P4 – Position #4 – Offset (may not fit in all Strat routs and additional routing may be required with this selection)

This build offers your choice of wiring options for each pickup and comes standard with 3 mini toggle switches included for independent control over each pickup and a myriad of tones. For each pickup/position, your wiring options include 2-way or 3-way mini switch options to get you the performance you want. Options include:
*2-Way Mini Switch: Full Humbucker / Off (NOTE that this option does not include coil splitting performance)
*2-Way Mini Switch: Full Humbucker / Split Coil (NOTE that this On-On 2-Way option does not include an “off” mode)
*3-Way Mini Switch: Full Humbucker / Off / Split Coil
*3-Way Mini Switch: Series / Off / Parallel
*3-Way Mini Switch: South Coil / Full Humbucker / North Coil (NOTE that this On-On-On 3-Way option does not include an “off” mode)
These options can deliver both in-phase and out-of-phase selection combinations suitable for a wide variety of performance genres.

For this guard, full size 500k pots along with .047 caps are standard, but your choices will determine the ultimate build details.

~~Installation Information~~
No diagrams are included. Your loaded guard will come with three open wires. Red is hot and is soldered to the tip of your jack. If you select a jack, this will be pre-done for you so you’ll unsolder, feed the wires through your channel, and resolder. Jacks work with standard cables only and jack sockets accept standard ¼” plugs. Both blacks are grounds. One is soldered to the jack sleeve and the other is grounded to your trem/bridge. If your selections require alternate installation, additional instructions will be included in your shipment.

Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten screws or other components. If you are unsure of your ability to successfully install this item, please do not purchase.

These guards will not fit anything other than specifically noted compatible models. They will not work with non-standard components or systems. Guards are not guaranteed to fit “Squiers” and will not fit “Deluxe” “Light” any Artist Series or Reissue, or anything else other than “Fender® Standard” model guitars in the years and configuration noted. Non-standard selections may require body modifications.

Your selections are your own – we will create your guard to order per your specifications so please know your needs prior to purchase.

Depending on your set-up, you may require adjustment. Ask in advance and we are happy to provide fit/compatibility information or make special arrangements if possible. Do not buy if you are unsure of your requirements, needs, or ability to make any required adjustments.
