This Dragonfire Active Pickup Kit is offered as a convenience if you already have active pickups and need new electronics. Each of the components available in this set can be found separately in our store if you don’t need the entire kit. Or, if you’re changing out your system, consider checking out some new active pickups! Contact us if you have any questions.

For our Dragonfire Active pickups, we recommend using 25K pots, 0.1 tone caps, and a stereo jack. We offer the option to include the accessory kit style of your choice if you need these components for a new or replacement system installation.

Each kit includes the option to select the pot style you need. Check out our store’s control pot section to see product details and explore other pot options. We also offer the option to add a switch if you need one (color at our discretion). Find switch details in our store if you’d like more information about the switch options available or would like to purchase a different switch style. For your convenience, you can also elect to add a knob for each pot selected.

~~Pot Styles~~
Small pots are dime/mini sized pots. Large pots are standard/quarter sized pots. Short shaft styles are for mounting through a control plate or pickguard. Long shaft styles are for body-mounting but can also be used for guard mounting with extra nuts and washers. Extra-long shaft styles are for mounting through the body and ground plate of most LPs.

Wiring instructions are NOT INCLUDED. There are a vast number of possible set-ups; you should be able to use any diagram or instructions you want. Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations. If you require additional length, contact us PRIOR to purchase. Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten or apply too much pressure on components.

Allow and expect variation in color due to photo and monitor settings, perception, lighting, as well as natural product variance. Color descriptions indicate color of item, not material. Ask any questions regarding options, measurements, installation requirements, special requests, etc. prior to purchase.
