We’ve created our Dark Phats to bring out a captivating side to your playing with control, authority and ability. These pickups emphasize your unique sound with a hot, deep, strong AlNiCo presence and plenty of heft to get you where you want to go. Showcased with black oversized flat top style polepieces, the distinct dark phat poles help ensure robust string response no matter what your playing style entails. The A5 magnet style pairs perfectly with the phat bottom end to anchor your execution, providing depth and stability while the hot wound output provides enough power for whatever you play. ~~Installation Information~~
The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.

These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split as well as add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options (instructions not included). If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.
