ITEM DESCRIPTION
These hand-wired harnesses are customized just for you and work well with most One Humbucker (or other One Pickup) Systems. Tailor your harness to your unique preferences and take your playing to new levels. We offer many style and upgrade options as well as typical replacements in standard and left-handed made-to-order wire harness versions. Each harness is unique and, based on your selections as well current component stock on hand, may vary in appearance from the sample product images.

We have many pot options for you to choose from to further customize your new harness. These are available in Large (Quarter Size) or Small (Dime Size) as well as Short or Long Shaft Styles. Short shaft styles are for going pickguard mounting while long shaft styles are for body mounting. If you are going through a body and a guard, you will likely need additional nuts/washers (sold separately). Brass bushings are available in some configurations. Audio Taper (“A” pot) or Linear Taper (“B” pot) styles are available. Players will often use B Pots for volume and A pots for tone, but it’s really a personal preference. We also offer your choice of OHM style: 25K, 250K, or 500K. Traditionally, humbuckers are paired with 500K pots and single coils with 250K pots. If you are coil splitting, we do not recommend 250K pots. 25K pots are used with active pickups and, if selected, your order will automatically upgrade from Mono Jack to Stereo Jack and include a Battery Clip.

Depending on your style and what you are looking for in terms of performance, you might change these standards as you please, but results will vary (exercise extreme discretion!). Use the drop-down menu to see which options are available for this item.

A Mono Jack open-frame style jack is included with each harness; this jack requires a 9mm mounting hole and tightens to your jack plate (sold separately). A Stereo Jack open-frame style jack is an optional upgrade and requires a 9mm mounting hole; this jack tightens to your jack plate (sold separately). Another option is our Barrel Jack cylinder style; this jack requires a 12mm mounting hole and tightens from inside your guitar. All Jacks work with standard cables only and accept ¼” plugs.

Soldering is required for installation; basic instructions are posted in the product images (we do not send hard copies with your order). Please know your abilities/requirements and check your measurements carefully to see if this item will work for your set-up. OPTIONAL ADDITIONS (Further Customize Your Harness!)
The Treble Bleed Volume Kit wiring modifier addresses the loss of high-end signal when turning down your volume pot. You’ll be able to keep more of your highs while maintaining volume adjustability. This wiring option allows a more constant tone throughout the range of your volume pot and helps remove the dark muddiness typically experienced in the lower volume pot settings.

The Series Parallel wiring option incorporates on-on, two-way DPST toggle style mini-switches – one for each humbucker. The switch shaft diameter is roughly 5.85mm so you’ll need a 6mm hole (1/4” bit) for each. This wiring mod can be added to any humbucker harness and gives you the ability to flip your humbucker between series/parallel.

The Kill Switch Wiring Option allows you to kill the signal to the amp using an on-off, two-way SPST toggle mini-switch. The shaft diameter is roughly 5.85mm so you’ll need a 6mm hole (1/4” bit).
